Houston Texans Ticket Information

“Houston Texans fans – are you ready for some football?” Clay Walker sang it and SecSeats will get you ready for some exciting Texans football with a great ticket selection available now.  Coach Bill O’Brian and his squad are ready to face the Washington Redskins in the September 7th season opener and put the memories of the dismal 2013 season out of fans’ minds.  Everyone knows that the Texans are looking to the draft to fill crucial gaps and the growing consensus is that South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney may be pick number one.   On the other hand, the need at quarterback finds Johnny Manziel under consideration for the top pick.  In either case, you will want to be in NRG Stadium to cheer on the newest Texans with tickets from

 Texans 2014 Football Preview

With only one home and one road win last season, the September opening matchup with the Redskins can’t get here fast enough.  After winning the AFC South in 2011 and 2012 and winning their first two games, everything seemed to be lining up for a Super Bowl run for the Texans last September.  Then the wheels came off and the team tasted defeat in each remaining contest in 2013.  Injuries hit on both offense and defense and QB Matt Schaub fell apart.  So why should it get any better in 2014?  Reason one, the first overall pick in May's NFL draft will add an impact player immediately and, secondly, the schedule. Most of the Texans’ opponents struggled just as they did last year or they saw their playoff dreams evaporate as the season progressed.  The schedule sets up about as well as it possibly could with winnable games against the Redskins, Raiders, Bills, Browns, Titans, Jaguars (in Houston) and yes, even against those Cowboys with their shaky defense.

Houston Texans Football: NRG (formerly Reliant) Stadium

Address: One Reliant Park, Houston, Texas 77054

Field: Natural Grass (for Texans games)

The Houston Texans have utilized NRG (formerly Reliant) Stadium beginning with their inaugural 2002 season. Construction began in March of 2000 on the first NFL stadium to have a retractable roof, with a unique design that allows the fabric roof to split at the 50 yard line and panels resting above each end zone when the roof is fully retracted. The price tag for the facility came in at $352M and it employs a grass field for NFL games but uses an Astroturf product for college and high school contests.  The stadium seats over 71, 000 football fans and was recently outfitted with the largest digital displays in any professional sports venue.  Enjoy these stadium perks as the Texans ride on victoriously with tickets for great seats from

 Houston Texans Rivalries:

Houston Texans vs Tennessee Titans

While the Indianapolis Colts come in a close second place, more fans felt that the Texans and Tennessee Titans are the hottest rivalry in the AFC South.  The roots of the dislike started back in 1997 when former Houston Oilers and current Titans owner Bud Adams uprooted the Oilers, moving to Tennessee and changing the name of the team to the Titans.  The expansion Texans subsequently found themselves in the same division as the Titans when they began to play in 2002.  With that history, two matchups each season and competition for the AFC South Championship, it’s easy to see how things can get heated in a hurry.  Don’t miss out on being in the middle of the action with great seats for the next Texans - Titans game with tickets from
